Josh Landon is an Emmy Award–winning anchor and reporter currently with FOX 2 Detroit, where he returns to his hometown of Detroit after eight years working across Lansing (MI), Fort Myers (FL), Milwaukee (WI), and Richmond (VA).
Landon’s impactful journalism has earned him multiple accolades, including a Regional Emmy for his investigative crime series on gang activity in Richmond and an Associated Press award for breaking news coverage.
Born and raised on Detroit’s east side, he credits his mother with instilling his passion for local news from a young age, when watching local broadcasts became “cool.” That early inspiration paved the way for a committed career in storytelling and community journalism.
