Meet Your Host - Angela Clayton, Sr. Technical Program Manager, Microsoft

Angela Clayton is a Senior Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, specializing in Azure Security Assurance. With over two decades of experience in security and quality assurance in the DoD and Intelligence communities, Angela holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Florida A&M University.

In her role at Microsoft, Angela excels in ensuring the quality and security of Azure services, showcasing expertise in software testing, requirements gathering, and user experience. Beyond her professional achievements, Angela is a dedicated mentor and tutor, sharing her knowledge generously.

An advocate for sustainable technology, Angela enjoys driving electric lawnmowers and her electric Mustang. Her love for family is evident in the time she spends with her daughter. Passionate about music, Angela balances her tech career with personal interests, embodying a well-rounded and inspiring individual in the field of cybersecurity.

Meet the Speaker - Shaniece Bennett

Shaniece Bennett is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), trusted business advisor and consultant. Her main areas of expertise include government contracting, small business taxation, accounting, audit, and financial management. Shaniece offers over 20 years of private and public sector experience through her firm Accutrak Consulting and Accounting Services PLLC.

Shaniece is known for her personal, comprehensive approach and going beyond the numbers to bring additional value to all customers. She has helped entities acquire capital, secure government grants or contracts, and save over a half million dollars in taxes. Shaniece leverages her experience and relationships to help business entities reach their full potential. Accutak is usually initially engaged for primary accounting services and often retained for continuous business support services.

Shaniece is actively engaged in small business support, education, economic development, and many leadership associations. She is a native of Detroit and proud to advise others in the community on how to maximize their unique business opportunities while minimizing financial risk. She brings a fresh business perspective that can generate immediate and long-term return on investment advice.

Beyond her professional life, Shaniece enjoys spending time with her family, playing board games, and welcomes all challenges.
