Instagram Collab Edition

Each week leading up to the Detroit Digital Empowerment Summit, Black Tech Saturdays will host the "Own The Dream: $1K Pitch Challenge" via Instagram Collab posts.

✅ How It Works

Founders submit a 90-second pitch video using a standard set of specs.

  1. Each approved pitch is posted as a Collab Post with the founder on the @BlackTechSaturdays Instagram page.

  2. Voting period begins the day of posting and lasts for 72 hours.

  3. Submissions & Posts Are

    Open Monday - Wednesday

    Voting Period Thursday - Sunday

    Winners Announced Every Monday

  4. Winner receives $1,000 to implement their idea!

👤 Founder Pitch Video Guidelines

Max duration: 90 seconds

  • Orientation: Portrait (vertical) preferred

  • Must include:

    • Name & Business

    • Clear Problem + Solution

    • How $1,000 will be used

    • Call to action: “Vote for me by liking + commenting!"
