NEW MAJORITY SUMMIT X BTS

October 17th 2026

The New Majority Summit closed out its tour at Detroit’s Garden Theater on Sweetest Day, bringing together founders, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for a powerful day of connection, education, and opportunity. Led by Melissa Bradley, the summit celebrated historically underestimated entrepreneurs while highlighting the importance of access to capital, resources, and community. Attendees heard from inspiring voices, including Angela Yee, Sean Williams of Detroit vs. Everybody, and Cristina Byrd, while BTS Co-Founder and CEO Johnnie Turnage moderated a founder panel exploring fundraising, building trust, and navigating entrepreneurship. From insightful conversations to a Pop-Up Pitch, the event created space for meaningful connections, new opportunities, and continued growth. Thank you to every speaker, attendee, and New Majority Venture for investing in Detroit’s entrepreneurial community and creating momentum that extended far beyond the room.
